Students will discuss skills, concepts, and relationships in all traditional areas of Plane Geometry. Some topics for discussion in Plane Geometry include properties of angles, lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, and polygons; congruence and similarity; measurement; coordinate geometry, and transformations.
The final grade is based on 4 9-weeks averages and the final exam.
* In order to receive high school credit, students must earn an overall grade of 80% of higher. This includes the End of Course exam which counts for 20% of their grade.

Welcome to 8th grade!!! I am so excited to have you back in my class this year! We will be spending our first three days this week getting to know each other and the expectations of a Discovery Student and Hebron Panther. We will also be working on getting our math notebooks ready for this year. I can't wait to see all of you, get a good nights rest tonight and I will see you all tomorrow morning!
Circles Unit Test is Wednesday May 17th. Formula note cards must be turned in by the end of the day Tuesday May 16th.
