Students will discuss skills, concepts, and relationships in all traditional areas of Plane Geometry. Some topics for discussion in Plane Geometry include properties of angles, lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, and polygons; congruence and similarity; measurement; coordinate geometry, and transformations.
The final grade is based on 4 9-weeks averages and the final exam.
* In order to receive high school credit, students must earn an overall grade of 80% of higher. This includes the End of Course exam which counts for 20% of their grade.

I CAN apply the properties of equilateral and isosceles triangles to solve problems.
HOMEWORK: Practice problems, Page 64 I CAN identify corresponding parts of congruent figures and apply that knowledge to solve problems.
QUIZ (Classifying Triangles, Finding missing interior and exterior angles measures, and Corresponding parts of congruent triangles) : Monday November 15th I CAN apply the triangle sum theorem and the exterior angles theorem to find missing angles. HOMEWORK: Find the missing angles in triangles worksheet
I CAN write conditional statements, converses, inverses, and biconditional statements.
I CAN determine the type of angle pair relationship and find missing angle measures. I CAN examine equations to determine whether lines are parallel or perpendicular. I CAN write equations of lines parallel and perpendicular to given equations. Unit 2 Test TODAY!!! HOMEWORK: Finish study guide (answer key is attached) Number 11b have the wrong answer. It should be x = 20. The two angles are supplementary. Unit 2 Test is tomorrow!!
